Larry Edwards

Larry was the son of the late William and Lucille Edwards.  He was born on March 10, 1952 in Abbeville, SC.  When Larry was four years old the family moved to Brooklyn NY.  It was there that Larry thrived.  He became a Phlebotomy Technician at Downstate Medical Center.  He met the love of his life Risa Franklin.  Later he joined the Army and quickly became a Military Police Officer.

In 2001 Larry decided to join his mother and remaining siblings in Neptune NJ.

He departed life on August 4, 2021.  He was predeceased by his life partner Risa Franklin, two sisters Barbara Macklin and Priscilla Edwards, two brothers William and Mark Edwards; nephew Rodney Edwards and a great-nephew Tyrone Middleton.

He leaves to mourn his passing two sons Lavar Edwards and Lamont Franklin, two sisters Linda Williams and Mae Edwards, 13 grandchildren, Lavar, Lavae, Lamir, Lamont Jr., Landon, Lawson, Levi, Laila, Lacey, Lauryn, Lyric, Labella, and Lillian, two great aunts Pearl Bowie and Mattie Carson, 10 nieces, 5 nephews, 6 great nieces, and one great-great nephew, and a host of cousins and friends.
