Della Williams was born in Old Town, Florida on March 7, 1947 to Emma and James Glenn, both who preceded
her in death as well as her siblings; Arlean Jenkins, Gloria Price, Luther Taylor, Geraldine Hartsfield, and Ralph Jones. She was educated in the Old Town school system. After graduating from high school, at age 18, she moved to Neptune, NJ where she worked in the nursing field. On June 20th, 1999 she married the love of her life, Walter Williams of Horatio, SC. He also preceded her in death.
Idella was a member of the Trustee Board at St Peterson Primitive Baptist Church, where she served for over 20
years. She loved going to church and serving the Lord. Idella was an amazing cook and baker. She was very family oriented, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was best known for her wittiness and never holding her tongue. She enjoyed going to plays, traveling to Atlantic City, and entertaining family and friends. Idella was also a jokester; loved to laugh.
