Danova Dimitri Workman also known as “Dman” was born on October 27, 1971, to the late Robert and Gloria Workman in Long Branch, NJ.
He received his education in theMonmouth County school systems.
In 2007 he moved to Woodbury, NJ where he met his longtime companion of 14 years, Lakiya Coleman. They were blessed with three beautiful children: Denaysha, Davon, and Damani.
Danova was employed by The Courtyard by The Marriott as the head cook.
Danova was a loving and caring person. He had a high level of respect for the elderly, women, and children. He loved being around his family and going to family functions. He loved cooking and would often brag about his cooking skills. He enjoyed watching the food network and the animal planet.
What people will remember most about Danova is his cool laid-backpersonality and his smile. Danova will forever live in the hearts of many people.
He is predeceased by his uncle Kenneth Safforld.
Danova leaves to cherish his memories: longtime companion Lakiya Coleman; eight children, Nakia, Jaheem, Shameek, Isariah, Denaysha, Davon, Damani, Jerron; three step children, Cyialece, Essy,Lakasia, and Lakayla; six sisters Ramona Safforld, Angelique Morris, Cassandra (Ron), Tashama(joe), Dawn, and Tracy; three brothers, Parrish West, Robert Jr,ISelf, and Adrian. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, ands friends.
