2019.  He was born on December 27, 1972, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center to Wayne Woodward and Yvette Jones. Wayne attended the Neptune Township Public School system most of his life, graduating from Neptune High School in the class of 1991. Following graduation, he attended college at Alabama A&M and Delaware State University. Wayne later went back to school and graduated from Brookdale Community College in 2014 and was one class away from receiving his bachelor’s degree from Georgian Court University.

Wayne and his long time friend Monique began dating in 1995 and after ten years they married

August 20, 2005. They have three beautiful children together Imani, Kaiya and Moriah.

Wayne was a Teacher’s Aide at The Children’s Center of Monmouth County, where he loved working with students with disabilities. He had a special relationship with each and every one of his students, and created many friends over the years as a result of him being employed there.

He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Lodge No.48 F & AM, PHA, of Asbury Park, NJ.

Wayne was an avid sports enthusiast and a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, spending most

Sundays watching the game.

Wayne was a devoted husband and family man, spending most of his time with his wife, 3 daughters, 2 dogs,  Block and Suga and was also expecting his first grandchild in December 2019.

Wayne is predeceased by his father, Wayne Woodward, paternal grandparents, Marge and Joseph Woodward, his maternal grandparents, Samuel and Elizabeth Jones, and his aunt, Delesta (DeeDee) Jones.

Wayne is survived by his wife Monique Foster-Jones of Neptune, NJ, his mother, Yvette Jones of Douglasville GA, an uncle, Dereck Jones of Neptune NJ, and his three lovely daughters: Imani, Kaiya, and Moriah all of Neptune NJ.

Although an only child, he has three close cousins who were like siblings to him, Cheddar Layton, Neptune, New Jersey, Erica Jones, Decatur, Georgia, and Michael Haynes, Bowie, Maryland.

He leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory.
